OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2014. Under Clause 6 of the Action Plan for preventing and suppressing monopolistic activity and unfair competition of economic entities in housing construction and production of construction materials, regional FAS Offices inspected whether the authorities of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation and the economic entities that has dominant position on the market of construction materials complied with the antimonopoly law.

As a result of 169 inspections, regional FAS Offices initiated 92 cases on violating the antimonopoly law, investigating which 89 violations were exposed.

Out of them, around 62% constituted violations of Article 15 of No. 135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26.07.2006, and about 26% - violations of Article 17 of the Law.

The results of the inspections were reported to the Government Office of the Russian Federation.
