OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2014. In the reporting period, Moldova’s export of oil products grew 2.1 times to USD 17.3 million, the gas export soaring 70.6% to USD 8.1 million.

A share of oil products and gas in the total volume of exports from Moldova increased from 0.7% to 1.2%, the share of gas growing from 0.3% to 0.4%, the share of oil products increasing from 0.4% to o.8%.

It should be noted that Moldova is known as a net petroleum importer and, as experts think, the matter rather concerns either the re-export or the supply of crude oil produced by Valiexchimp in the southern regions of Moldova or, possibly, the export of diesel fuel processed from the cruel oil in Comrat. Valiexchimp is also performing gas engineering around the village of Victorovca.
