OREANDA-NEWS. January 16, 2014. The Government is taking measures to stir up creating a serial production of national grain harvesters.

A series of commissions in this direction has been given to the ministries during a meeting chaired by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov on the outcomes of considering an issue of implementation of measures in preparation and realization of the investment projects directed to the development of machine-building for the agro-industrial complex, that are envisaged by the State Program for activization of the economic development for 2013 – 2014.

In particular, it was commissioned to ready a series of Governmental decisions. So, the Finance Ministry, Ministry of Economic Development and Ministry of Incomes have received a commission to submit for considering by the Cabinet of Ministers in a month’s term the propositions concerning legislative settlement of a mechanism and conditions of giving the state guarantees for the enterprises of non-governmental economy sector in order to ensure implementation of the tasks of the abovementioned State Program. Moreover, chargeable ministries must prepare a Governmental decision on determining a level of localization of production of grain-harvesters Skif-Tukano-440 by Kherson Machine-Building Plant.

Overall by 2018 it is planned to produce 7688 grain harvesters. It shall facilitate the development of national combine production and ensure effective manufacturing of trade grain at the account of renewal of a technical park of agricultural trade producers by highly productive grain harvesters Skif-Tukano-440 and Skif. Realization of the project needs financing in the amount of UAH 223.8 mln. As of January 10, 2014 there have been financed UAH 73.8 mln.

By now there have been produced 4 items of Skif-Tukano-440 grain harvester (with UAH 2050 thousand per item) that undergo testing and certification.
