UniCredit Doesn't Plan to Leave Ukrainian Market
OREANDA-NEWS. UniCredit banking group doesn't plan to leave Ukrainian market. It was stated by Gianni Franco Papa, Head of CEE Division at UniCredit during Euromoney press conference in Vienna.
“The rumors on UniCredit leaving Ukraine have been spreading for several years, however UniCredit is still operating in Ukraine. We are definitely interested in political stability in the country to have more conditions for business development”, - said Gianni Franco Papa.
Let us recall that at the beginning of December the integration of UniCredit two legal entities in Ukraine - PJSC “UniCredit Bank” and PJSC “Ukrsotsbank” was completed. Total assets of the integrated bank compose UAH 41 bln. The bank is represented by 435 branches with 4 out of which - Private Business.

The renovated UniCredit Bank was created in December 2013 through integration of two Ukrainian assets of UniCredit Group, which has been operating on the local market since 1997.
