OREANDA-NEWS.  January 15, 2014. A project constructed by Jinchuan Group Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (“Jinchuan Construction”) was awarded China Construction Engineering Luban Prize for 2012-2013.

The prize, best known as Luban Prize, is the highest prize in China’s construction industry.

The project, Technological Upgrade of Jinchuan 60ktpa Nickel Electrolysis Plant, is the only one from China’s non-ferrous sector and Gansu Province’s industrial sector included in this year’s awards.

The project is the third to win the award, following in the footsteps of the 150ktpa Large-size High-purity Copper Cathode project and the 14ktpd Mill Expansion project.
