Lawyers of FBK Offer Amendments to Bill on Judicial-Expert Activity
OREANDA-NEWS. January 15, 2014. Anna Grishchenkova, head of FBK Legal dispute resolution practice, took part in the panel discussion on the topic of “Improving the mechanism of judicial-expert activity at present stage” organized by the Council of Federal Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Legal and Judicial Affairs and Civil Society Development.
At the meeting under the discussion was the draft of Federal law “On Judicial-Expert Activity in the Russian Federation” adopted by the State Duma in the first reading.
FBK experts put forward a number of amendments to the document.
Anna Grishchenkova thanked organizers of the event: “I am very grateful to Senator K. Dobrynin who regularly involves practicing lawyers in work and invites to an open dialogue on the bills. My special thanks to the Ministry of Justice that is always willing to examine and take into consideration constructive proposals.”
Took part in the discussion: Svetlana Smirnova, director of the Russian Federal Center of Forensic Expertise under the RF Ministry of Justice, Andrei Kovalev, director of the Russian Federal Center of Forensic Expertise under the RF Ministry of Health, Yuri Gorianov, deputy head of the Penal Administration treaty and law department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Peter Ishchenko, deputy head of the RF FDCS administration investigative department, Elena Borisenko, deputy minister of justice, Yuri Pilipenko, vice president of the RF Federal Chamber of Lawyers. Representatives of the leading law companies spoke at the panel meeting.
