OREANDA-NEWS. CMC Ltd, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services, has reported a 16 per cent rise in net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013. The company's net profit went up to Rs 70.54 crore as against Rs 61.06 crore in the same quarter a year ago. Revenue rose by 14 per cent to Rs 561 crore (Rs 493 crore). “The revenue growth in this quarter has been in line with our expectation, considering that traditionally Q3 is not a growth quarter in the international markets,” R. Ramanan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, said in a press statement. The CMC scrip was up 0.59 per cent to close at Rs 1,718.05 on the BSE today.
