Government of Ukraine to Continue Work on Deregulation
OREANDA-NEWS. January 14, 2014. The Government will continue the course on deregulation, reducing the administrative burden on business and elimination of barriers for its activities. This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during communication with users of social network Facebook.
"I’ve said many times that we should make much of our producers, business. That would be the meaning of the Government’s activity in 2014. If we want to significantly accelerate the development of the economy, we must continue to deregulate, to reduce the administrative burden on business, to remove obstacles in doing business, to fight against corruption and to create conditions for the modernization and investment into our industry," Mykola Azarov said.

Recall, the Ministry of incomes and fees of Ukraine was established by the reorganization of the State Tax Service of Ukraine and the State Customs Service of Ukraine, putting on the Ministry that formed the function of the administration of a single tax for obligatory state social insurance by the decree of the President of Ukraine dated on 24.12.2012 № 726/2012.
In particular, for the year of the activity of the Ministry of incomes and fees it was managed to improve the quality of tax and customs services, simplify tax reporting, a large-scale service of computers, automation procedures, and as a result, reducing the time to perform business tax obligations and customs procedures. Thus, taxpayers this year spent on fulfillment of their tax obligations for 100 hours less than in the previous year. The time of inspection of goods at customs on average was reduced to 1.5 hours.
Among this year's achievements of the Ministry of Incomes and Fees - administration of a single social contribution. As a result, more than 1.5 million reports were submitted on time, the collection has increased by an average of 5% compared to last year. For two months, the number of taxpayers of single social contribution that report online increased from 38% to 60%.
Ministry of Incomes and Fees plans to simplify the reporting of a single payment.
Also, the decision to extend the moratorium on inspections of small and medium-sized businesses in 2014 is adopted.
