OREANDA-NEWS. International Paper took part in a charity Christmas gala held at the Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO. The event was jointly organized by the Vera (Faith) and Podari Zhizn (Give Life) charities in partnership with the SKOLKOVO business school. The family-friendly event drew public figures, SKOLKOVO business school representatives and students, top business people, and Russian celebrities. During the event International Paper donated Life Button service packages to the Vera Hospice Charity.

Earlier this year, International Paper gave special recognition to the co-founders of the Life Button project, recognising the project as the best socially-oriented community initiative developed by graduates of the SKOLKOVO business school MBA program. The project helps senior citizens and people with disabilities to get immediate assistance from the social and emergency services when they need it, at the push of a button.

“What we really like about the Life Button project is its human dimension, which gives something back to society, and in particular its core essence - prioritizing the safety and care of senior citizens who need assistance from social or emergency services in times of real need,” said International Paper Russia's President Ksenia Sosnina.

Ksenia Sosnina thanked Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO for its commitment to helping the youth of today to become the leaders of tomorrow and for involving students in socially-oriented initiatives that offer real benefits to Russian society.
