OREANDA-NEWS. The Government of Belarus has adopted a resolution to provide reimbursement to OAO Belarusbank in 2014-2016 for the losses, which result from the Br460 billion export loans (USD 48.472 million) provided by domestic sugar factories, reads a message posted on the government's legislative web portal.

Intended to promote exports, the credits were provided on December 12, 2013 at three thirds of the refinancing rate of the National Bank.

The recipients are OAO Zhabinka Sugar Refinery - Br140 billion (14.752 million), OAO Skidel Sugar Factory - Br170 billion (USD 17.913 million), OAO Gorodeya Sugar Refinery - Br150 billion (USD 15.806 million).
