OREANDA-NEWS. According to preliminary data, the National Bank of Georgia (NBG) international reserve totaled USD 2 823,4 million as of 31 December 2013. The index is less than that as of 30 November 2013 by USD 207,4 million.

The international reserve converted in foreign currency totals USD 2 601,5 million as of 31 December, including that floated as securities - USD 1 729,4 million as well as that on the accounts of foreign banks and International Monetary Fund (IMF) - USD 872,1 million. The amount of funds placed in SDR totals USD 222 million. Reserve position with IMF totals USD 15,4 thousand.

Since 2013, the NBG international reserve was decreased by USD 49,6 million and reached the historic maximum.
