OREANDA-NEWS. January 09, 2014. More categories of employees from different areas will benefit from higher salaries in 2014.

Judges’ wages will increase by 3-5 average salaries on the economy until 2016. For example, the judges of the primary courts will have a salary of about 11,000 lei in 2014.

Some employees of the culture sector will also receive higher salaries. Thus, the wages of the heads of cultural centres, cultural hostels and clubs subordinated to the local public authorities, as well as those of the management and specialty staff from museums will increase by 20 per cent.

The employees of the Interior and Defence Ministries will have a 30-per-cent higher salary in 2014. Some employees of the healthcare system will also benefit from higher wages. In particular, the staff of the Transplant Agency and Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices will receive higher salaries by up to 80 per cent.

The amount of the monthly average salary on the economy, forecast for 2014, is of 4,225 lei.
