OREANDA-NEWS. January 08, 2014. The Commission of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) found that “AUCHAN” Ltd. violated the Law “On Trade” (“AUCHAN” Trading Network is one of the largest retail networks in Russia and is included in the Auchan France Group).

The company created discriminatory conditions for suppliers of milk and dairy products (in violation of Clause 1 Part 1 Article 13 of the Federal Law “On the Fundamental Principles of State Regulation of Trading Activities in the Russian Federation”).

In the course of the investigation FAS revealed that “AUCHAN” Ltd. charged suppliers of milk and dairy products differently for the same volume of services for promoting and sales development (advertising goods by demonstrating samples in “AUCHAN” stores).

FAS issued a determination to “AUCHAN” Ltd. to stop violating the Law.
