OREANDA-NEWS. January 06, 2014. As of this date, the external state debt was MDL 16 billion 660.3 million (USD 1 billion 269.5 million), up MDL 1 billion 634.5 million (10.9%) or USD 23.9 million (1.9%) since the beginning of the year, the Finance Ministry reports.

At the same time, the internal state debt of Moldova grew MDL 488.2 million (7.9%) to MDL 6 billion 647.1 million in the reporting period. In January-November, to serve the debt it was allotted MDL 281.6 million, 98.3% of an amount budgeted. Let’s remind that in 2012 the state debt of Moldova increased MDL 1 billion 958.2 million (10.2%) to MDL 21 billion 184.8 million as of December, 31, 2012.

The internal debt increased MDL 317 million (5.4%) to MDL 6 billion 159 million, the external one making MDL 15 billion 025.8 million or USD 1 billion 245.6 million, up MDL 1 billion 641.2 million or 12.3% since the beginning of 2012.
