OREANDA-NEWS. Georgy Semenenko, General Director of the Kirov Group, was a winner in the 'TOP 100: Best Top Managers of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region' annual ranking, 'Heavy Industry' category.

On November 28, an award ceremony was held in St. Petersburg to announce the winners of the 'TOP 100' prize. The prize is given based upon results of an independent annual ranking organized by the newspaper Delovoy Peterburg. The project celebrates the achievements of large business leaders whose decisions are of key importance to the economy of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region. Contenders for the Best Top Manager title were evaluated based on a number of their companies' performance indicators for 2012 and 2011, such as total revenue, number of employees and debt burden (short- and long-term loans). This year, the expert panel selected the top 100 managers in 22 industries.

Georgy Semenenko, General Director of the Kirov Group, was announced a winner in the 'Heavy Industry' category. Other 'TOP 100' prize winners representing this industry included leaders of Sevkabel Group of Companies, JSC Power Machines, JSC Izhora Plants and JSC Klimov.
