Ukraine Funds 150 Bilateral Research Projects in 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2013. The State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization actively develop international scientific and technical cooperation during this year. In accordance with the results of 2013 financial support was provided for 150 bilateral research projects which are implemented with the participation of Ukraine.
This was started by head of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization Volodymyr Semynozhenko.
"On the basis of agreements on scientific and technical cooperation between Ukraine and other countries of the world and the minutes of the meetings of the bilateral commission on scientific and technical cooperation the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization regularly provides financial support to bilateral research projects. Over 150 such research projects were funded only in 2013," Volodymyr Semynozhenko said.
He said that these projects were carried out in cooperation with Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Vietnam, India, China, Korea, Lithuania, Germany, Russia, Slovenia, Turkey, France, CRDF Global and the NATO.
"The implementation of bilateral projects allows Ukrainian scientists to expand the boundaries of international cooperation, to acquire additional knowledge and improve practical skills," head of the State Agency on Science, Innovations and Informatization said.
