OREANDA-NEWS. December 31, 2013. AzeriCard Processing Center together with the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), MasterCard international payment system and World Telecom sales network presents a new service for the IBA MasterCard holders - Mobile Payment.

According to Jahangir Mammadov, the Head of AzeriCard Development Department, this service is now available for the IBA clients.

“In future other banks may also join the Mobile Payment service”, - Mammadov said.

Hakan Acar, MasterCard Manager in Azerbaijan, said in his turn that the global mobile network has a huge potential of possibilities related to making payments and different solutions in the sphere of clients’ loyalty.

The advantage of this service is that it can be used without payment card only by mobile phone.
