OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2013. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Oleg Proskuryakov met with representatives of the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), headed by Toshihiko Kasai.

The parties discussed the results of the implementation of projects by the Green Investment Scheme and the signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine and NEDO to extend the implementation of a number of large-scale projects.

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources assured the Japanese parties that the Government of Ukraine will take all necessary steps to implement large-scale projects in time.

By turn, Toshihiko Kasai separately highlighted a significant role and efforts of the Ministry in implementing of greening projects and in the solution of problems that have been before.
