OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2013. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan jointly with the Junior Achievement Azerbaijan (JAA) held the next training on enhancement of banking and financial knowledge of higher shool students within the Exchange of Knowledge project.

The training on Fundamentals of Banking and the Role of the Central Bank in the Banking System was held in the Center for Research and Development of the Central Bank. The key goal of the training which involved 25 students selected through interviews from the Azerbaijan State Economic University and the Qafqaz University was to improve banking and financial skills of higer school students majoring in finance and economy.

The students were given in-depth information on development of the monetary and exchange rate policy, central banking, banking regulation, etc. during the four-day training delivered by Central Bank specialists. Participants were awarded with certificates at the end of the training program.
