OREANDA-NEWS. December 30, 2013. Eurasia Insurance Company in January-October of this year, paid its customers about KZT9m, which is equal to 18.4% of the total payments made by domestic insurance companies,- the press service of the company reported.

According to the insurer, it is the largest amount of payments made in the insurance market during the reporting period.

As a results of 10 months, on the second place in terms of payments is "Halyk - Kazakhinstrakh " with KZT5.8bn insurance payments ( 12.1 % of market share). NOMAD Insurance " took the third place, their customers received KZT2.9bn or 6.1%. Fourth place in the ranking "Oil Insurance Company", has paid nearly KZT2.5bn (5.2%.) JSC "State Annuity Company" closes the top five with 2.4bn insurance payments (5.1%).

As of October 1, 2013 on the Kazakhstan insurance market there 34 insurance companies, including seven life insurance companies.
