OREANDA-NEWS. Shangqiu-Hefei-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway has been approved, according to related department of Hefei. The railway will be completed in 2018, by then, it will only take residents in Hefei 100 minutes' ride to travel from Hefei to Hangzhou, 40 minutes shorter than now.

According to design, the railway is 770 kilometers long and the designed speed is 350 km/h with 22 stations. Anhui section of the railway is about 604 kilometers long, running through Bozhou, Fuyang, Huainan, Hefei, Wuhu and Xuancheng.
