OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. The parliament approved the budget of the National Agency for Regulation of Energy (ANRE) for 2014 in final reading.

Under the legislation, the ANRE revenues will be estimated at 27.5 million lei, the expenses – 30.8 million lei and the deficit – 3 million 281,200 lei in 2014. To achieve the planned revenues, the regulatory fees will amount to 0.12 per cent.

In 2014, a greater focus will be put on consumers’ protection, especially, by informing about their rights and defense in accordance with the regulations approved by the agency. At the same time, the ANRE legal service will be fortified with staff. The process of transposing the community acquis in the energy sector and monitoring activities for observing the legislation on the regulated markets will be continued as well.
