OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. Activity of Russian Agricultural Bank aimed at social development of Russia and improving of living standards of the population is marked by the National Banking award presented by the Association of Russian Banks under the nomination “Socially Responsible Bank 2013”.

The Award ceremony, that took place on December 19 in Moscow, was attended by leading statespersons, entrepreneurs, journalists, representatives of the Russian banking elite.

The Award, being non-commercial, is aimed at enhancing reputation of the Russian banking system and encouraging its best projects and representatives.

The winners are determined by the Expert Jury comprising leading specialists in business and social sphere. This year among the most significant projects implemented by RusAg the Jury made a special mention about the support of the flood victims in the Far East.

In August 2013, RusAg transferred financial resources to population of the most suffered regions. As of today, clients and employees of the Bank have donated about RUB 12.8 million to the flood victims in the Far East.
