OREANDA-NEWS. December 27, 2013. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) held a meeting with participants of the market of bunkering services on developing competition in this field.

Participants discussed the existing barriers for operating on the market, focusing on the most pressing issues. One of the main points was discussing the situation formed after the Central Energy Customs had sent teletypograms to the heads of energy customs stations on the customs control procedures for certain groups of goods. Representatives of the Central Energy Customs were actively involved in the discussion.

Participants expressed their opinions about the impact of the teletypograms sent by the Central Energy Customs upon the economic position of companies, drew attention to the issues of normative legal regulation of the markets of bunkering services, insufficient cooperation between different authorities exercising control over participants of this market.

“A direct dialogue with the expert community involving interested authorities will enable to not only expose system-wide problems but also find the optimal ways to resolve them”, pointed out Vladimir Mishelovin.
