Tele2 Expands International Roaming Map
OREANDA-NEWS. Tele2, an alternative mobile operator, is opening automatic voice and GPRS roaming in Singapore (Starhub), Iraq (Korek Telecom), Nigeria (MTN) and Ruanda (Tigo). In these countries Tele2 subscribers can make phone calls and use high-speed mobile Internet at cost-efficient prices.
In Singapore, Nigeria and Ruanda, Tele2 subscribers can use automatic voice roaming at 35 rubles per minute of incoming and outgoing call. The cost of an MMS equals that of an SMS, which totals 12 rubles. No payment is charged for traffic.
In these countries Tele2 clients may use high-speed mobile Internet at 50 rubles per 1 megabyte. Favorable prices let Tele2 clients use mobile Internet in a way they got used to: they may communicate with friends in social networks, use instant message services, read e-mails and surf the Internet.
Just as during their stay in their home region, the operator’s clients use voice services abroad without sending any requests and watch their mobile account on a real-time basis.
Tele2 is seeking to make mobile services most cost-efficient and comfortable for travelers. The company has created an easy-to-use calculator at www.roaming.tele2.ru. It lets the operator’s clients calculate mobile expanses in roaming.
Besides, the company has zeroed out phone calls from anywhere in Russia and the world to the Tele2 contact centre. Now the company’s subscribers that stay in Tele2 roaming countries may contact the operator’s call centre for free.
For the comfort of its subscribers, Tele2 roaming map is divided into three zones. The cost of calls totals 9.45 rubles in Europe, CIS and Turkey. Tele2 Russia clients can make calls in Africa, Asia and Australia at 35 rubles and at 65 rubles in North and South Americas.
