OREANDA-NEWS. Beginning on January 1, 2014, an English version of the book “Russian Military-Technical Cooperation”, published by Rosoboronexport, will be available to download from the iTunes Store to iPhone, iPod, and iPad devices. The book will be published in English as “Russian Arms”, according to a Rosoboronexport press statement.

The book “Russian Military-Technical Cooperation” has already been published twice in the past three years. The first edition was released in 2010 for the 10th anniversary of Rosoboronexport. The book chronicles the entire history of military-technical cooperation between Russia and foreign countries for more than 100 years. The second edition, expanded and supplemented, was published in 2013 for the 60th anniversary of the national system of military-technical cooperation.

In order to make the book more accessible to foreign experts who are interested in the history of Russia's military-technical cooperation, an English version of the book was published to run on iOS mobile devices.

This edition is encyclopedic in nature and has significant historical value. The book contains many monographs and unique archival documents that are being published for the first time.

The title “Russian Arms” emphasizes the successes of the national defense industry, which allows Russia to remain a leader in the world arms market.

The authors are currently adapting the book for Android, which will significantly expand its readership.
