Lumber Production in Russia Falls 1,2% in January-November
OREANDA-NEWS. December 26, 2013. In Russia, the volume of lumber production declined by 1.2% in January-November 2013 year-on-year, and amounted to 19.1 million cubic metres, as Federal Customs Service of Russia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Plywood production for the reporting period increased by 3.8% to 3 million cubic metres; fibreboard production decreased by 10.2% to 382 million square metres.
Peeled veneer production for 11 months of 2013 increased by 7.9% to 629 thousand cubic metres.
Industrial production of door units increased by 1.5% to 13.9 million square metres.
