OREANDA-NEWS. On Tuesday, based on the results of the report and election trade union conference of Energotehprofsoyuz Public Association, the new collective agreement for 2014-2018 was signed.

This agreement includes changes in compliance with the requirements of the labour legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, considering all aspects of social and labour relations and working environment improvement measures to prevent social tension in the work collective. It should be noted that for the first time the agreement provides the procedures for accession to the collective agreement and regulation of labour policy issues, including leisure time during social holidays, salaries, social protection and compensation; specifies measures to support the employees and develop human resources.

In general, the changes in the collective agreement are aimed at improving development of social and labour relations, protection of the rights of employees and management of KEGOC personnel.

In order to improve labour social and relations and to solve corporate social tasks, KEGOC and its employees have been executing collective labour agreement since 2003. The agreements is based on mutual understanding and trust.

KEGOC functions as System Operator of the Unified Power System (UPS) in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Key business activities relate to natural monopoly. The company owns 110-1150 kV transmission lines (24.5 ths. km long) and 76 substations with installed transformer capacity - 35.5 GWA, which form the national power grid (NPG). The company employs above four (4) thousand people.
