OREANDA-NEWS. December 25, 2013. DOK Kalevala (Petrozavodsk, Republic of Karelia, Russia) sold 50 thousand cubic metres of OSB panels in August-December 2013, told to Lesprom Network Natalia Sukhina, Head of Marketing DOK Kalevala.

DOK Kalevala produces OSB panels format 1250 x 2500 mm, thickness of 9 mm and 12 mm. Share of panels with a thickness of 9 mm in total sales OSB in August-December 2013 amounted to 70%.

The company estimates that in 2013 the demand for OSB panels in Russia increased by 20% compared with 2012.

As early Lesprom Network announced, on June 25, 2013 DOK Kalevala has opened facility at the new OSB plant with annual capacity of 300 thousand cubic metres.
