OREANDA-NEWS. The entire equipment is produced at the erection and blank section of OJSC “Sosnovoborelectromontazh”, subsidiary of the holding “TITAN-2”.

The specialists of OJSC “Sosnovoborelectromontazh” perform works for production of valve actuator modules. The total quantity of valve actuator modules, which are to be made by the specialists of the erection and blank section before the end of 2013 is 687 pieces. In 2014 the organization plant to produce more than 3000 pieces.

Thereafter the produced valve actuator modules shall be delivered to LNPP-2 construction site to the first power generating unit building: turbine building; control building; water treatment building; normal operation power supply building; district heat supply building; nuclear maintenance building with controlled access zone welfare rooms, pump house building of turbine building consumers.

The valve actuator module is an important element of the entire electrical equipment. After the motorized valves are produced, works on installation of cables (valve actuator module) and electric drive shall begin. The next step shall be the installation of the entire electrical equipment.

Holding “TITAN-2” is the largest group of companies in the North-West, engaged in construction of the most important facilities of nuclear industry and power generation. The companies perform full cycle of construction and erection works from development of design documentation to commissioning of the facility.

Holding “TITAN-2” acts as one of the main contractors for construction of power generating units No 1 and No 2 of Leningradskaya NPP-2. The companies of the holding execute 30% of civil construction works and 80% of erection works on construction site. The specialists of the holding are engaged at the facilities of the first and second power generating units of Leningradskaya NPP-2. The works are carried out in the buildings of the reactor, turbine, power supply, water supply and heat supply, as well as in other buildings of the power generating units.
