FAS Takes Part in Meeting of Supervisory Board of OPORA RUSSIA
OREANDA-NEWS. December 24, 2013. The Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia), Igor Artemiev, took part in is a meeting of Supervisory Board of “OPORA RUSSIA”, of which he is member.
Igor Artemiev discussed FAS initiatives on introducing amendments to the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, liberalizing the antimonopoly law and reducing administrative burden upon business. The Head of FAS emphasized the importance of state procurement reform.
Igor Artemiev proposed to form jointly with “OPORA RUSSIA” the working groups for devising instruments enabling small business to receive up to 1.5 trillion RUB through state and municipal procurement and effective participation in the system of electronic trading.
“If we’ll manage to place 20-30% of government orders to small companies – it will be a breakthrough in state support to small business”, concluded Igor Artemiev.
The Minister of Emergencies, V. Puchkov, who took part in the meeting, informed “OPORA RUSSIA” that in 2014 the Ministry plans to procure 30 - 50% orders for goods, works and services for the needs of the Ministry from small business.
