OREANDA-NEWS. December 20, 2013. As it was informed in the National Bureau of Statistics, the average salary in October grew by 3.8%. Average salary in the budgetary sector in October 2013 amounted to 3221,6 lei, exceeding October 2012 indicators by 0.9%, and increasing by 11%- up to 4012,5 lei in the real sector of the economy.

The lowest average salary in Moldova is registered in the fishing industry-1829,9 lei (+14,5% compared to October 2012). The average salary of agriculture and forestry workers amounted to 2838,6 lei (+21,6%). The salary in the hotel and restaurant business made 2632,3 lei (-2,9% to October 2012), in education - 2935,2 lei (+4,8%), in trade - 3249,1 lei (+8%).

The highest average salary in the country is traditionally registered in the banking and financial sector of Moldova. In October 2013, it totaled 6845 lei, increasing by 0.6% compared with October of the last year. The average monthly salary at the enterprises of heat, power, gas and water sector amounted to 5572,1 lei (+8,9% by October 2012), real estate companies -5067,7 lei (+19%), transport and communication companies- 4661,6 lei (+17,5%), public administration - 4481,3 lei (-2%).

Average salary in the construction companies made 4151,8 lei (+6,6%), in mining industry - 4056,1 lei (+4,6%), processing industry - 3764,3 lei (+5.9%), healthcare and social assistance - 3522,8 lei (+7,5%).
