UTair Passenger Turnover for Volga Federal District Increases 75.6%
OREANDA-NEWS. UTair Aviation transported 42,151 passengers under the Federal Air Transport Subsidy Program in the Volga Federal District for the April-November period of 2013. The program seeks to ensure the availability of air transport for residents of the Volga Federal District. The cumulative results this year represent a 75.6% increase over the same period for 2012.
Flights on routes between Ufa and Kazan; Ufa, Kazan and Nizhny Novgorod; Ufa and Perm; and Samara and Nizhny Novgorod were performed with Bombardier CRJ-200, ATR-42/72, AN-24 and L-410 aircraft.
UTair Aviation operates the most extensive domestic route network of all Russian airlines and takes an active part in state programs for air transport subsidies.
