OREANDA-NEWS. Belarus' Gomel Castings Plant, affiliated with Gomselmash farming machinery manufacturer, has announced a tender to choose a supplier of automatic galvanizing equipment worth an estimated Br33.685 billion (USD 3.587 million.

The new galvanizing facility will be part of the 2013-2015 production upgrade programme currently underway at Gomel Castings Plant. The total value of the production upgrade programme is estimated at Br170 billion (USD 18.1 million).

Gomel Castings Plant has recently purchased five turning workstations worth in excess of €1 million from TRENS SK a.s. (Slovakia), and 11 high-precision machine tools worth €2 million manufactured by the same Slovakian company.

As previously reported, Gomel Castings Plant is set to purchase EUR600,000 worth of high-precision milling equipment from Germany's SPINNER in 2014.

Gomel Castings Plant was established in 1979. The company specializes in producing mowers and fodder harvesters, a wide range of trailers for farming machinery, different types of castings.
