President of Tatarstan Visits Tatneft Personnel Training Center
OREANDA-NEWS. December 19, 2013. A meeting on the issues of staffing the economy branches was held in Almetyevsk with participation of Rustam Minnikhanov, President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The issues of staffing industry branches of the Republic were discussed during the working visit of Rustam Minnikhanov to Almetyevsk and Leninogorsk municipal districts of Tatarstan.
During the working visit the President of the Republic of Tatarstan was accompanied by Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rimma Ratnikova, Deputy Chairwoman of the State Council of Tatarstan, Ravil Zaripov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, Engel Fattakhov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Maganov, General Director of JSC TATNEFT, Isak Frumin (Moscow), Chief Scientific Officer of the Institute of Education NIU (National Research University) “Higher School of Economics”, Assistant to the President on issues of the oil industry, Shafagat Takhautdinov, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC TATNEFT, Heads of the Tatarstan’s Municipal Districts, heads of higher and secondary special educational institutions of Tatarstan and top managers of several leading enterprises of the Republic.
The first site visited by Rustam Minnikhanov and his accompanying group was Leninogorsky Oil College, which is one of the leading institutions of the secondary vocational education in Tatarstan and in Russia to train workers and mid-level professionals. There they demonstrated to Rustam Minnikhanov cabinets of drilling technology, production process automation, training grounds of electrical and electromechanical oilfield disciplines, production processes automation, laboratories of instruments and equipment of well logging methods, electromechanics, electronics and electronic equipment, as well as automated technologies of well drilling.
The program also included visiting of the training grounds of NGDU "Elkhovneft" and NOU (Non-Governmental Educational Institution) "Tatneft – Personnel Training Center".
At the Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute in the city of Almetyevsk the participants of the event visited laboratories of the research and educational center, including the laboratories of automated process control systems and instrumentation, automated process control systems of the oil and gas production shop, as well as automated process control systems. The visitors also got familiarized with the electrical networks laboratory of the electric power supply department.
During the meeting that followed the visits the participants discussed the current state and future tasks of the vocational education development in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The experience of the oil and gas research and educational cluster of Tatarstan was presented to the audience by Rustam Mukhamadeev, Deputy General Director of JSC TATNEFT for HR and Social Development. He pointed out in his speech that the Company had developed and successfully operated an integrated system of continuing professional education established with the support of the leadership of Tatarstan and in close cooperation with the industry-specific schools.
The cluster system of continuing professional education implemented in the south-eastern part of the Republic of Tatarstan includes Almetyevsk State Petroleum Institute, Almetyevsk Polytechnic College, Leninogorsk Oil College, Bugulma Engineering College and NOU "Tatneft – Personnel Training Center" that successfully interact with TATNEFT.
At present the Company is entrusted with serious tasks of innovational breakthrough, introduction of advanced techniques in exploration, oil field development, crude oil refining, petrochemicals production and marketing. The Company is developing new activities involving hard-to-recover oil field development. The introduction of advanced engineering developments and technologies requires highly skilled professionals, therefore on the initiative of the leadership of the Republic and TATNEFT there have been formed this year 7 targeted budgetary groups at the higher institutions of the Republic for training specialists in the more requested services.
The participants also discussed the issues concerning establishment of a personnel training center for the automotive industry branch of Tatarstan and a number of other issues.
