Government of Ukraine to Avoid Economic Recession
OREANDA-NEWS. December 18, 2013. The general task of the Parliament and the Government is not to afford economic recession and worsening of lives of the citizens.
The First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov declared during a coordination council in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
“Now our principal goal is realization of measures in stirring up the economy, improvement of the investment and tax environment, brining of the legislation area in compliance with the European standards. By such means only we will be able to come as equals into a “weight category” with the countries of the European Union,” he said.
S. Arbuzov noted that presently the common task of both the Parliament and the Government was to avoid the economic recession and worsening of living standards of the citizens.
In this connection, the representative of the Government explained the authorities must bring to action all the mechanisms, so that the move ahead would not lead the country to significant problems in the economy.
The First Vice Premier drew attention that from over 80 draft laws included into considering by the Parliament in the current plenary week almost a half was Governmental ones.
Moreover, he emphasized that the Government was ready for the constructive criticism, if it was viewed through a prism of interests of the country, the economy and the citizens.
