UIA Launches Kiev – Bangkok Flights
OREANDA-NEWS. December 17, 2013. Ukraine International Airlines opera ted the carrier’s first non-stop long-haul scheduled Kiev – Bangkok flight on Saturday, 7 December 2013. The Bangkok – Kiev return flight was operated on Monday, 9 December 2013.
The flights en route Kiev (Boryspil International airport) – Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi International airport) – Kiev (Boryspil International airport) are operated thrice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays with scheduled departure from Kiev at 19:25 p.m. and arrival to Bangkok at 09:50 a.m. the following day (local time). Bangkok – Kiev flights are operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with scheduled departure from Bangkok at 02:40 a.m. and arrival to Kiev at 08:30 a.m. local time.
The flights are operated on modern Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with three-class cabin layout – Business, Premium Economy and Economy. Business class cabin is equipped with comfortable Andromeda seats.
To provide Premium Economy class passengers with additional comfort the seat pitch is increased up to 36” (91.44 cm).
Passengers from the cities of Ukraine are provided with an opportunity to purchase a single round-trip ticket for a UIA-coded domestic flight to/from Kiev + UIA new non-stop Kiev – Bangkok flights and vice-versa. A single round trip economy class ticket price starts from USD 750 (airport taxes not included).
Until 28 February 2014, Panorama Club members are offered a unique opportunity to travel from Ukraine to Bangkok using less miles, as well as earn an increased number of miles. Passengers travelling in Economy class can book a promo award round-trip ticket for 60,000 miles, while a Business class promo award round-trip ticket can be redeemed for 90,000 miles. UIA Premium Economy class guests will earn 10,090 miles for a round-trip flight to Bangkok on their Panorama Club account. Thus, flying with UIA to Bangkok twice they can issue an award ticket for any UIA-coded flight to Europe.
UIA passengers departing from both Kiev and Bangkok are provided with an opportunity to take advantage of the carrier’s web check-in service. The web check-in is available within the period of 23 and 2 hours prior to scheduled departure.
