OREANDA-NEWS. December 16, 2013. In the framework of the VII All-Russian Environmental Conference "New priorities In National Environmental Policy In The Real Economy," a contest was held to find the "Russia's Environmental Leader in 2013".

The purpose of the contest was to find public companies which actively promote environmental protection and conservation, the rational use of natural resources, the sustainable development of the Russian economy, the improvement of public health and the country's environmental safety.

Russian Railways emerged as the winner of the All-Russian competition "Environmental Leader 2013.
