OREANDA-NEWS.  December 16, 2013. The Ukrainian party has taken the lead in creating the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR.

The head of the Agency for Science, Innovation and Informatization, who has been appointed the head of the Intergovernmental organization for cooperation in scientific-technical and innovation areas (MIR NTI), V. Semynozhenko informed.

According to him, it will afford to create a principally new instrument of international cooperation in innovation area and ensure a mechanism of realization of the Interstate program of innovation cooperation of CIS participating countries up to 2020.

“Taking into account comments and propositions of our colleagues from the Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan the Ukrainian party has finalized a draft agreement on creating the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR,”  V. Semynozhenko noted.

“I consider in March-April of 2014 we could sign this agreement,”  V. Semynozhenko believes. 
He reminded that the proposition to create the Intergovernmental organization of international innovation development MIR had been discussed and supported in the course of a meeting of Prime Minister of Ukraine and the Russian Federation during a sitting of the CIS Council of heads of government on November 20, 2013.
