OREANDA-NEWS. December 13, 2013. The Government of the Ivanovo region discussed introducing the Standard for activities of executive bodies towards creating favourable investment climate under the framework of developing cooperation between the Government of the Ivanovo region and the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Ivanovo region (Ivanovo OFAS Russia).

To organize inter-branch cooperation on implementing the Standard for activities of executive bodies in the Ivanovo region, a working group is formed, and a draft “Road Map” is devised, which defines measures to enforce the Standard, deadlines and responsible persons. The “Road Map” was approved in general by the expert group comprising experts of “Strategic Initiatives Agency for Promoting New Projects” Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization, representatives of business community and NGOs of the Ivanovo region.

Overall, 8 out of 15 requirements of Investstandart are fully executed in the Ivanovo region; the remaining requirements are executed partly or are at various stages of revision.

Active cooperation of the regional authorities and Ivanovo OFAS Russia is aimed at implementing “Road Maps and developing competition in the Ivanovo region.
