OREANDA-NEWS. By the decision of Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, Pavel Kanichev is appointed to the post of a successor to Deputy Director General for Sales and Service. To date, the post of Deputy Director General for Sales and Service is held by Evgeny Pronin.
Pavel Kanichev is 44 years old; he graduated from Saint Petersburg State Electrotechnical University, he is an electrical engineer by education. Before his assignment to the new position, he had been working as Director General of OOO Avtozapchast KAMAZ. Under his guidance, Avtozapchast KAMAZ actively developed its brand network for sales of original spare parts and successfully put counterfeit products out from the market.
Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, noted that the introduction of the post of the successor to one of the key positions in the company will enable to carry out rotation of the top managers reasonably, in accordance with the world’s best practices. “The final decision will be taken later,” Mr. Kogogin said. “I’d also like to make special mention of Evgeny Pavlovich Pronin’s great contribution to the company’s development. He is one of the most experienced managers who have for many years been working for the benefit of KAMAZ successfully.”
