USK MOST Company Acts as Partner of Transport Week 2013
OREANDA-NEWS. Major transportation infrastructure projects of the SK MOST Group of Companies were presented at the exhibition “Transport of Russia 2013, December 5-7 at the forum “Transport Week 2013” Maksim Sokolov, RF Transport Minister, and Arkady Dvorkovich, RF Deputy Prime Minister visited the company’s booth.
The exhibition in the Gostinny Dvor was opened by Sergey Ivanov, Head of the President Administration. He delivered a message of the Russian President Vladimir Putin which, in particular, noted that large-scale infrastructure renovation is a major challenge that is facing today the country’s transport industry. After the welcoming words, an official tour of the exhibition began, which was attended by representatives of relevant ministries. The exhibition was attended by more than 80 companies of the transport industry.
A number of projects presented in the SK MOST booth were crucial for the development of the transportation system of Russia. Among them - the new Kuznetsovsky tunnel in the Far East, the Roki tunnel on the Transcaucasian route, a highway bridge across the rivers Staraya and Novaya Pregolya in Kaliningrad, a new section of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line of the Moscow subway, an Arctic port of Sabetta, and a project of an extradose bridge over the Zeya River in Blagoveshchensk. The projects of the SK MOST Group of Companies were presented by Igor Tyunin, General Director of OJSC USK MOST, Mikhail Gutnikov, General Director of OJSC STROY-TREST, and Sergey Galter, Deputy General Director OJSC USK MOST.
The Bridge to Russky Island in Vladivostok and the combined route in Sochi, which was opened for traffic in November 2013, were the main attractions for visitors of the SK MOST Booth. While these projects can be considered the hallmark of the company, they also show the capabilities of Russian construction sector, which is capable of handling projects of any complexity.
