In the past few days, Jia Baojun, who is group president and chairman of the board of Sinosteel, and Xu Siwei, secretary of the Party Committee, general manager jointly met Gao Haijian, the president and secretary of the Party Committee of Magang Holding Company and his party in the headquarter. Both parties conducted in-depth communication concerning industrial current status, trend, and further close cooperation to achieve win-win development. 

On behalf of Sinosteel, president Jia briefly introduced the current production and operation status and major measures taken against severe market tendency. President Jia expressed that, for many years, Sinosteel have attached great importance to cooperating with Magang Holding Company. Both parties have witnessed the growth and development of the counterparty with long-term cooperation. In the future, Sinosteel would like to continue to provide high quality and efficient services for Magang Holding Company in areas of equipment mating, system integration, and energy saving and environmental protection, constantly expanding cooperation space, work closely together for a better future.

President Gao Haijian expressed gratitude to the concern and support that Sinosteel gave Magang Holding Company for many years, evaluated highly Sinosteel Equipment, Sinosteel Mining Institute and other enterprises which have provided a series of services for Magang Holding Company, and briefly introduced the status of structural adjustment, variety quality, energy saving and environmental protection, process optimization, and equipment upgrading of Sinosteel. President Gao pointed out, the severe market situation brings tremendous difficulty to production and operation of steel enterprises.
