OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2013. This was stated by the Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Rusyi at the opening of Moldovan-Belarusian business forum held within the framework of the 15th session of Moldovan-Belarus intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. Mikhail Rusyi said that Moldova is one of the most important and promising political and economic partner of Belarus.

"There are no contradictions between Minsk and Chisinau. The economies of Moldova and Belarus complement each other", - said the Vice-Premier of Belarus. He emphasized the role of two governments in creation of conditions for finding a common ground, creating new joint ventures, increasing bilateral trade, opening new jobs, increase in the budget revenues and getting a decent profit. Mikhail Rusyi said that during the meeting of the intergovernmental Commission the parties will consider issues of expanding cooperation in various fields.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus reminded that due to cooperation of Minsk and Chisinau Moldova successfully implements the project on assembly of trolleybuses "Belkommunmash" and vineyards tractors. According to him, there are good prospects to develop this market as well as produce Moldovan wines and cognacs in Belarus.

Mikhail Rusyi urged the businessmen of Moldova to more actively develop Belarus market and create joint ventures. He stressed that economic situation in the country is stable and positive processes in Belarusian economy was confirmed by EBRD which raised the Belarus GDP growth from 1.5% to 2%. The Vice-Premier said that there are serious prerequisites for successful business development, production in the country.

Moldovan-Belarusian business forum in Chisinau was attended by representatives of more than 20 companies in pharmaceutical, agro-food, construction, machine building and other industries. Within the framework of the forum bilateral meetings where businessmen of both countries will be able to establish partnership relations and conclude new contracts on cooperation, is being held.
