OREANDA-NEWS. December 11, 2013. The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine recognizes the importance of constructive dialogue with the trade unions of Ukraine in the formation of efficient economics.

This was started by the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Anatoliy Maksyuta at a meeting with representatives of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine and national sectoral unions.

"We are ready to discuss all matters of concern of trade unions, and jointly seek solutions to existing problems," he said.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues related to the need of high-tech development of knowledge based industries in Ukraine.

"Currently, we have taken steps to support the automotive industry, realizing the importance of development of high-tech industries. The same applies to domestic aircraft construction. It should be noted the development of what areas will give maximum effect to economic growth," said Anatoly Maksyuta.

The parties also presented their views on the domestic economy development, including such important areas for Ukraine as aircraft manufacturing and domestic trade.
