Russian-Kazakh Joint Working Group Holds Sixth Session
OREANDA-NEWS. On December 3-4 in Astana (Kazakhstan) the VI session of the Russian-Kazakh Joint Working Group on the deepening of cooperation in the field of the peaceful use of atomic energy was held.
The Russian delegation was headed by Deputy Director General for International Activities of ROSATOM N.N. Spasskiy, and the Kazakh delegation was headed by Vice Minister for Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan B.M. Dzhaksaliev.
The parties held an exhaustive inventory of the integrated program of the Russian-Kazakhs cooperation in the field of the peaceful use of atomic energy of 2011. The discussion was positive and meaningful. The Russian party emphasized that ROSATOM had fully completed all measures within its responsibility and was ready, in the framework of the Russian legislation and in accordance with the principles of economic reason and parity agreed by the parties, to constructively consider any new proposals of the Kazakh partners.
The discussion will be continued. N.N. Spasskiy invited B.M. Dzhaksaliev to visit Moscow in January 2014.
