OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2013. China saw its import of methanol decrease 37.6% year on year or 4.97% from the previous month to 295,100 tons in Oct this year.

In the first ten months of this year, the country’s methanol imports rose 3.83% from a year earlier to 4.16 million tons.

In the month of Oct, China’s methanol exports surged 99.76% year on year to 61,100 tons. The figure was 62.84% more than it realized in the previous month.

From Jan to Oct 2013, the country’s methanol exports amounted to 546,700 tons, 93.46% more than it realized in the same period of last year.
