OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2013. Ukrainian and Russian governmental delegations led by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin have paid working visit to the State Enterprise "Antonov"

As part of the negotiations that have taken place in the company, the parties discussed the main directions of Ukrainian-Russian cooperation in the aviation industry.

In particular, the projects of cooperation in the production of regional aircrafts of family An-148/An-158, the scheme of cooperation and joint work schedule under the program of military transport aircrafts of short takeoff and landing An-70, restore the serial production of upgraded An-124-100 "Ruslan" - AN-124-200 for the needs of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine and Russia were discussed.

There were also discussed questions relating the coordination of research and development work, maintaining a coherent policy in relations with third countries on the production of aircrafts of military and civil use. The focus of the talks was made in a constructive, cost-effective development of joint aviation programs.

During the visit, the delegations looked at the production facilities of the Antonov - visited the assembly shops, where aircrafts An-148/An-158, AN-70 are construct, a laboratory of testing piloting stands, familiarized themselves with the integrated simulator of AN-148.

During a visit to Antonov Company parties identified a number of areas for further cooperation and outlined concrete steps to implement them.
