Bank of Moscow to Fund Development of Housing and Utilities Services
OREANDA-NEWS. The delegation of the Bank of Moscow led by President-Board Chairman Mikhail Kuzovlev visited Krasnodar on December 3, 2013. During the visit Mikhail Kuzovlev met the governor of the Krasnodar Territoty Aleksandr Tkachev. They discussed reform and modernization projects in the sphere of housing and utilities services, communal infrastructure, and overhaul maintenance of the housing stock in the region.
Banking and loan services for housing and utilities are a strategic work area of the Bank of Moscow. The Bank finances the infrastructure of cities and regions, provides services for housing stock and utilities, public transport, street and road network, improvement of public amenities, residential and civil construction, the Smart City project. Thus, in the Krasnodar Territory the Bank of Moscow intends to take part in the implementation of the program "Image of a Capital City to Krasnodar" which provides for the purchase of a new fleet of municipal transport. The bank also plans to assist a project to build preschool facilities for children.
During the meeting the Bank of Moscow also made a comprehensive offer to the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, prepared for those involved in the new system of overhaul maintenance of apartment blocks, which suggests working hand in hand both with a regional operator and associations of homeowners (partnerships, housing associations, household cooperatives) and providing funds for those directly engaged in overhaul maintenance activities. This offer has already been implemented in many regions of the Russian Federation.
The Krasnodar Branch of the Bank of Moscow has been operating since 1999. Today the Branch ranks third in the corporate loan services market of the Krasnodar Territory. As of the beginning of 2013 the Branch’s corporate loan portfolio (SME and Big Business clients) has grown 6 times and on November 23, 2013 reached the mark of RUB 26.9 billion.
