JSC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat” considers it necessary to cancel legal proceedings: the court and the procuracy authority have already confirmed the legality of the new production facility construction. Moreover the Company does not deem allowable for its name to be used for the party advertising purpose.

On November 13, 2013 the Ninth Arbitration Appeal Court considered a matter in the action of JSC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat” against the political party “Green Alliance People's Party” for declaration of the broadcasted information to be at variance with the facts and for publication of the appropriate retraction.

Let us recall that back on the 2nd of September Moscow City Arbitration Court satisfied claims asserted by JSC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat”. The suit was filed on the basis of the appeal to Yuri Chaika, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, published at the official website of the political party “Green Alliance People's Party” in the end of April 2013. The appeal contained direct accusations againstJSC “Gazprom neftekhim Salavat” of illegal construction of acrylic acid plant.

During the legal proceedings the political party presented a reply from the prosecutor's office according to which the authorization for construction of acrylic acid plant had been issued legally and there were no grounds for taking measures by the prosecutor's office.
